Dr. Kristi Kim
Dr. Kristi Kim earned her dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and built Highlight Dental Studio around a simple idea: good dentistry should feel calm, personal, and unrushed. Patients consistently describe her as patient, gentle, and easy to talk to. She is known to be someone who listens first and walks through every option before recommending treatment.
Her cosmetic work is detail-oriented and conservative; matching shade, shape, and proportion to each person’s features so the results look natural rather than obvious.
Dr. Kristi Kim is a member of American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE), American Academy of Clear Aligners, Spear, and the California Dental Association.

How it all started
I wanted to bring something special to the Koreatown community. I imagined a space that wasn’t sterile or intimidating, but inviting and chill (like Crush and Zion.T songs playing in the background kind of chill👌🏼). I wanted to design a modern space that provides a safe environment for patients to take care of their oral health.
We would focus on education, quality, and details. When our patients walk in they would feel seen and cared for. And here we are. Highlight Dental Studio is that vision realized. Come visit. 🙂

Insurance, membership, and financing
No insurance? We got you. Our in-house membership is $40/month and includes two exams, two cleanings, two fluoride treatments, x-rays, and 20% off other procedures. It’s become one of the most popular ways our patients stay on top of their care. We also work with all PPO insurances and can walk you through financing options to make cosmetic treatments more manageable.
